Travis Perkins, a distributor of building materials to trade customers, has appointed Sally Dunn as its new chief human resources officer (CHRO).
Dunn moves into the role after nearly two decades at Travis Perkins, most recently serving as HR director, HR shared services and interim director of reward. In that position she worked on organisational design, people capability development, operational effectiveness and employee experience, reporting into the senior leadership team.
In her new role, Dunn will lead people strategy across the wider Travis Perkins group, which employs more than 17,000 colleagues across over 1,400 branches and stores in the UK. The group's businesses include Travis Perkins, Toolstation, BSS, Keyline, CCF and TF Solutions, spanning building materials, tools and specialist trade solutions.
Dunn will partner with group chief executive Gavin Slark and the wider leadership team on the company's people agenda. Her CHRO remit covers organisational development, talent strategy, reward management and workforce transformation across the group's operations.
