Lisa Hillier appointed chief people officer at Hargreaves Lansdown

Financial services firm Hargreaves Lansdown has appointed Lisa Hillier as its new chief people officer. Hillier has joined the firm's executive leadership team and will lead its people and culture strategy.

Hillier joins from Trainline, where she spent five years as chief people officer, helping build the rail-ticketing company's culture and values and shaping its approach to leadership and employee experience. She has held chief people officer roles at several digitally led consumer platforms, including Betfair and Just Eat, as well as at food-delivery company Gousto and The Restaurant Group.

Earlier in her career, Hillier spent 15 years at insurer Aviva and five years in a senior people leadership role at communications regulator Ofcom, giving her experience across both financial services and regulated industries.
